I think Star got fed up. Peter pops in now and then. He's just gotten busy.

A lot of it had to do with a poster under the Atlantis Forum who drove quite a few people away.

Other old-timers have left because of what they feel were insults by other posters here.

I don't know what happened to Oldreds, and can't get any info.

I just got the internet in my new place of residence so I plan on being back more often.

Star did get fed up.

However there is a certain anonimity here, why so many people her get offended so easily is beyond me.

Much progress has come about as well as many setbacks.

This ole Rock is gathering moss, teetering on the edge of sanity, wondering why over the years I linger here, floating on an imaginary island called Atlantis in my day dreams - - - offering my often lengthy ramblings of opinions and speculations, verbosity my crime, "research" my weakness since I am not an official archeologist nor amature mind reader. I miss all the antagonistic postings of Peter V, where are you young Pete? And, Oldreds, have you gone beyond now and know all? (please tell us, too) and humorish "Whatif"?

Well,thank you for asking.
I've been traveling a lot, mostly to the States, got married, became father of twin boys and settled down(still in Holland though).
I think I've reached adulthood too,but not sure about that one, anyway I used to be on the alternative side, but got a little more 'down to Earth'.

Horus, very nice to see you back. Sometimes I wonder what has become of the 'old' conversation buddies that disappear after awhile. I'm glad that life has been good for you. I also hope that your children are doing well (I remember when you announced their birth some years back), as well as your wife. I also hope that my country has treated you well during your visits, and you have continued to find it to your liking. I also hope that you've been back to New York, and that you have enjoyed the experience there, as well. I've been back three times, I believe, since you dropped out of sight. I love it. I can't go too long without a return trip to recharge my batteries. Beautiful, exciting, energetic and mysterious city. My home ground.

Welcome back, Horus. You've become a bit more grounded in your "old age", huh? Haha!

Speaking of progress a Bush chief economist got his ass fired tuesday the 15th this week. Apparently his pro-outsourcing stance action finally caught up with him.

I wonder if he had to train his replacement???

Cydonia, thank you for your kind words, and me and my wife do love NYC,the last time we've been there was in June 2004,but we're planning a trip in September this year.
You're right about NYC too,it's an exiting place to be.And my kids are doing just fine, thanks for asking.

Docyabut, thank you too, nice to hear from you again.

And TSM,you know you're right ofcourse,I'm still an alternative thinker, but a little bit more realistic as well.I'll keep an open mind though.

Starlight. Starlight. calling Starlight. Please come out and play. We'll try and be nice to you (but again, maybe not.-better not trust us with your heart )

When I first came to this place in cyber space I was shocked and apalled how people were getting down on Starlight. It was nasty!

As Andrew Waters once siad: "This is not for the faint of heart."

I just wonder how many wonderful perceptive and intelligent but shy people got turned away form this "meeting of the minds".

I come to AR to nurish my soul. It's been a year now. I've learned how to fight here. I found new Ideas here. I found people like a jewels of different colors and shapes each with their own ideas and truths to tell. It's like a secret place where you can talk about ANYTHING. Thoughts drift past the computer screen like butterflys fascinating and beautiful. And there is balance. Some thoughts are like wasps with stingers. Look to this website for this is life. It is alive.

Twins, eh? 2 for the price of one?

My husband has 4 other siblings, 2 of which are twin girls!

Okay, the REAL question arises.

The twins family couldn't tell them apart when they were babies. And,even I have to admit the photos that I have seen stump me, too. BUT, when my daughter was old enough to point & look at the photos, but couldn't quite say her words correctly, she could easily tell the difference when no one else could!

Can YOU tell yours apart? Or, were they fraternal twins!

I'd LOVE to visit Holland. BTW, my daughter looks so scandinavian, that when we go to Disney World, at the Norway Pavillion, the Norweigians can't believe that she is not one of them!

Funky,Hor-em-akhet means 'Horus in the horizon',no not that payphone company .

Harmachis is the Greek rendering of Hor-em-Akhet or Horus-in-the-Horizon.A stele of Amenhotep II names the Great Sphinx as both Hor-em-Akhet and Horakhti.Dunno why they made that connenction between Horus and the Sphinx, but then again,I'm no expert on ancient Egypt,I just have a thing with Horus, can't really place it or explain why

And I too wish to know where Starlight is,she has been posting on AR for a long time,we had contact by email as well, sure would like too know how she's doing.

Smiley,my twin boys are not identical, thank God,so I can tell 'em apart. They have blond hair and blue eyes,Holland isn't that far from Scandinavia.
And what's that about loving to visit Holland?Do you mean you've been over here?
Or would you like to?

"HORUS" what a surprise! Long time no see, today I just dropped in and there you were. I did stay away for a long time because some just had to be too set in their ways and to remain in their conditioned beliefs. As for me I am open to all possibilities and remain a free spirit truthseeker. How have you been Horus, Volitzer and all?

Compared to last year NYS is actually having a normal winter.

2003-2004 it was zero or below Fahrenheit-wise with 4 inches every 24 hours in Janurary and Feburary.

2005. This year aint so bad. My empathy goes out to all those suffering do to this year's weather.

I just got the internet at my new residence 2 weeks ago so now I won't be getting kicked off after a 1/2 an hour at the library.

Yeah; never move in with siblings. I know TSM you told me so...

You have that one right, Star. I guess we are actually living to see such a change in the weather it's amazing.

You know, I heard that in 1962, the Alaskan Earthquake was 9.2 on the richter. Shortly after that, the 1-2 foot snows that Arkansas used to have just upped and disappeared. From that point on, each winter seemed to get warmer.

When Mt. St. Helens blew up, 1980, the temp got steadily warmer.

Now, we had the 9.0 earthquake & tsunami, and California is suffering greatly, and the temp is all over the place in winter!

So, is there a connection?

Hey Starlight,

I'm glad that your a free thinker and open to all possibilities. I remember you saying that you were reading THE GODS OF EDEN.
Did you ever read ...AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE by David Icke.

Also have you read Keven Trodeau's new book - CURES THAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT. shocking.

I wonder how much the government pays the right wing Christian fundamentalists to monitor this web sight. - How is that for a conspiracy theory?

have a good day.
see this is getting a "have a good day" without having to buy something.

I get a base salary of $3000.00/week. Plus a bonus of $500.00 for each pro-Bush post.

But I'm not a fundementalist. They get extra.

I've got them fooled though: I'm not really right wing. More of a moderate. Which means that I can take bids from the other side. For the right price, I could be A.N.S.W.E.R's voice on AR. Isn't capitalism great?[/irony]

I think cydonia and Daffy have better deals, though. I need a new agent.

P.S. Nice to see ya Star, how's it going?

Hi funky, yes I enjoy reading David Icke's website, the only book I have of his is The Children Of The Matrix. To put it direct the Elite have us in their matrix to be taxpayers and workers for them. I have read from all directions and keep an open mind to all the possibilities. There is so much I have learned over the years that being I see the Hegelian Dialectic played out over and over so the Insiders get their mission accomplished. They do whatever it takes to keep the people confused and dumbdown. Truth is power and they don't want we the people to ever have power to change their goals. Sadly, most folks just refuse to understand because they are either too programmed (mind controlled) to change or they just have given up. Thats exactly how the Insiders want them to remain. Obedient servants stay confused and fearful. The main thing I tried to tell is when happenings happen look to see who benefitted.

Star, as far as I'm concerned you're a friend. At least in online terms.

A sometimes exasperating friend with whom I disagree a lot, but I still like to think that we're on friendly terms. When we argue, it's over differences of opinions, not personal attacks.

Last I heard, you had moved when your son started college and had limited internet access. How are things going? How's the new home?

I want to be a friend as I have no desire to hurt anyone. People get hurt because they cling to their beliefs which we all do. I keep an open mind to other possibilities thats what reading from all directions does. For example folks reject UFOs because they tell themselves that can't be true. I examine all I read and then I see its very possible we are not alone in the Universe.

I am doing okay and my son is in college majoring in computer science. I do caregiving or housecleaning when I can find it. The fact is jobs that are available are taken very quickly. Bush has done very little if anything to improve jobs for we the people. Actually he is more interested in privatizing Social Security, etc.

Oh c'mon! Please don't turn me in! I barely survived the punishment last time. (They made me read Chomsky while listening to Streisand. My head nearly exploded.) I'll give you a cut!

Heck, as the new moonbat mouthpiece, I think I could advance the illuminati cause by making A.N.S.W.E.R. look even more ridiculous than they do already. Oh...Wait. I shouldn't promise the impossible.

I mean when you think of the mentality that People, Time, Newsweek, the Enquierer cater to AR holds its own.
