yep, blame it on me oscar. you won't tell us the "truth" about nazca because i have been badgering you?
let's see now, in another thread you accused me of uttering poetry or the like. i'm aghast at your perception of mockery. read your own prattle and then call the kettle black, professor.
i'm sorry that you are so befuddled in your quest to stereotype me ... why, that's another mystery too!

sensitivity training, it's not next on the list, but i'll get around to it someday.

Read again everything I have said in this forum and learn how does the mouser work in your computer in order to make designs. Did I say somewhere that I know all secrets? Didn't you say you weren't gonna add unless I write first? I did write what I know. What do you have to add about the many themes here rather than addressing to me in your wit (?)? What did you add in fact?Something to add NOW for a chance? No? It figures.

My post 01-31-2004 already answered specific question about the technique used in Nazca, instantaneusly and with a command exactly like the legends tell us. I told the physical principle involved.
Of course, you're skeptical. OK. You can choose to believe or to consider foolish. Now, WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS THEME knowing in the theme about Mars and Rennes-le-chateau you didn't add anything at all either? Hmm?
C'mon, Clint and Spirit, join us in Mars witty humor and "informed" point of view.

lysergic hullabaloo - that which can be characterized by grandiose statements of supposed knowledge interspersed with tangible tidbits of lore. usually conveyed in a frenzied and disjointed manner, lacking cohesiveness. synonymous with oscar's previous posts regarding why the nazca lines were constructed.

if you would like to finish what you started, instead of maintaining air of ridicule, ... it's your thread.

yes, the how part came across as a good theory, but perhaps maybe the why? maybe you too would like to reread above exchanges and see if not i gave my version?
is your answer symbolism only?

so befitting, your irascibility ...

re: this topic

i have acknowledged
i have kidded and bandied about
i have presented an option (albiet less verbose and simple in terms)
i have impatiently waited
i have given up (for the time being)

those two lines emanating from ricinulei were caused by giant raptor as it's wings hit the ground while securing it's prey in one fell swoop. disprove it.

about those boulders oscar - are you saying that they were used to scribe the surface of the area in question?

pray tell why you are so sure that designs had to be drawn without lifting "device" before finishing. are there not other ways to erase trails, signs of presence, footprints? the analogy to computer mouse ... ?

how deep are these lines, did they leave furrows?

serious questions professor - your input? or will a mere jest or two cause silence?

Most of the 'lines' at Nazca can be seen in their entirety by a fat olde lady only 5'-6" tall... None of them are as big as a football field.

That having been said, the Nazca plain provides a wealth of evidence that ancient inhabitants of the region were indeed an airborne culture.

Fabric remnants of hemp and spider silk -both stronger and lighter than nylon - have been c14'd to more than twenty thousand years olde still retain the properties of being waterproof and airtight.

Pottery shards in great abundance depict humans flying in baskets suspended from balloons - as well as astride the backs of giant condors.

A plethora of ancient electrical batteries, so common as to be found in museums all over the world, have been smashed by eurotrash for hundreds of years before Dr.Tom King discovered that if you fill them up with sea water (or human blood) they produce an electrical current - and they STILL WORK!

What, one may ask, do thousands of electrical batteries have to do with ancient flight?

Only this: electricity is the means by which both hydrogen and helium are 'cooked' out of good olde H2O.

Much has been said about the possibility of hot air having been used to provide the lift in the balloons depicted not only on pottery shards but in stone carvings all over south America; evidence (in the form of the electrical batteries) now indicates at least the possibility that hydrogen or even helium may have been used instead...

Not necessarily likely.

Why is it that some people argue that the Nazca could make hot air balloons, but that the Egyptians could not make the pyramids?
